Information we collect

• Account information you submit for local sign-in, such as email address.
• Favorite restaurants, favorite deals, and self-reported deal usage tied to your server-verified account.
• First-party analytics events for product learning, such as page views, deal views, restaurant views, filter usage, signups, logins, favorites, return visits, and self-reported usage.
• Operational logs needed to diagnose errors and protect the service.

How we use information

• Provide public restaurant deal discovery.
• Let signed-in members save favorites and report usage.
• Review directional product and restaurant interest signals for internal operations.
• Monitor reliability, security, and abuse controls.

Analytics boundaries

Deals N Town v1 uses first-party analytics only. It does not add third-party analytics or marketing trackers. Analytics metadata is allow-listed and must not store auth tokens, raw headers, cookies, free-form personal notes, payment data, or secrets.

Reporting boundaries

Views, favorites, and self-reported usage are directional interest signals. Self-reported usage is user-submitted and is not verified redemption, proof of purchase, guaranteed savings, guaranteed visits, or billing-grade attribution.

Data sharing

V1 reporting is internal. Restaurant-facing exports, outreach materials, public claims, investor claims, or marketing claims based on product metrics require business review before use.
